Why do bees dance?
Bees have to find all the food they can get as it has to be shared among all the bees in a hive. When bees return from foraging for food, they perform a dance on the combs of the hive. The other bees in the hive become excited and follow the dancer and imitate her movements. Soon, they leave the hive and fly to the food source. The dancer can tell the other bees where the food is by the speed and direction of their dance.
