We live in a finite world with only finite resources. It would not be impertinent to therefore ask, why not build into the manufacturing cycle, the reuse of previously used resources? Reducing the use of naturally occurring resources for producing virgin finished products is a great way of reducing the strain on our environment as well as conserving energy. As a side-effect, the recyclable waste going into the landfills would be curtailed, lessening the waste mass that we’ve generated over the last few decades.

Segregate the waste generated at home into biodegradable, recyclable, and non-recyclable. Plastics, glass, aluminum. paper. cloth, tin, egg cartons, and a host of other daily use products are recyclable. Harmful waste such as computers, TVs, watches, batteries, and other such chemical-containing products need special disposal practices which need to be woven into our daily lives very soon. We must realize that there is a value to clean air and water, and land to live.

So, recycle? Yes, always and all things.
