I Love My Home

East or west, home is the best. Wherever one may go, one longs to return home. Home is the only place where a person feels safe and finds peace. Home is not just a building made of brick and mortar. A house becomes a home if the people living in it have love and understanding with each other. Not only human beings, but birds and animals also love to make a home.

My home is built in a posh locality of the town. It is neither too big nor too small. It is big enough for our small family. My father, my mother, my sister and I live in it. The outer design of the house is latest and attractive. In front of it, there is a grassy lawn; we have grown rose flowers in it. The flowers greet our guests with their sweet smell and smile.

Inside it there are three beds with attached bathrooms. There is one lobby, one kitchen, one store and one drawing-room. All the rooms are spacious and airy. There is one study-room for me and my sister. The kitchen is in the front. The outside view is visible from here. The drawing-room is decorated with hanging curtains. Its floor is covered with a wall-to-wall carpet.

The bed-rooms are well-made and well-equipped. The floors are made of white-marble. In the walls of each bed-room there are cupboards and wardrobes. Each bed-room is furnished with fancy lights. There is T.V. set for each-room. The store is in between two bed-rooms. It is hidden from the view of a visitor. All in all there is every kind of modern facility in our home. Above all, the members of our family have love and regard for each other. All live for one, and one lives for all. And it is this practice which has made our home a sweet home.
