Vegetables….0h why??????

Breakfast at our home starts with a glass of mix vegetable fruit juice made up of carrot, beet, spinach and apple. My mom knows a lot about food. She says carrots are good for eyesight, beetroot is good for the skin and immune system, spinach is good for the blood and apple of course keeps the doctor away.

Mom makes sure that one vegetable is served at lunch and one at dinner. I love reading Popeye but I hate spinach. That’s why mom mixes spinach in my morning juice. Mom finds innovative ways to feed us vegetables. Sometimes she stuffs them in a wrap, or a sandwich and sometimes she loads them onto a pizza base.

Everyone wonders why I always win the “Best Attendance” award every year at school. It’s because I rarely fall sick. Mom says that what you are is largely because of what you eat; so eat vegetables if you want to stay healthy.
