I witnessed a robbery

Uncle Sam runs a sundry shop. One day, I went to his shop to buy some comics. It was five past eight. Suddenly, two men entered. They were wearing dark glasses and hooded shirts which seemed weird as it was eight in the evening in the middle of summer. They asked Uncle Sam to get them some beer. Uncle Sam said that he didn’t keep any beer. The men got angry and one of them pulled out a gun and pointed it at Uncle Sam. Where I stood, they couldn’t see me but I could see them. They ordered Uncle Sam to put his hands behind his back and made him lie face-down on the floor.

They opened the cash box and emptied all its contents in to their bag. I wanted to do something but I was frozen to the spot. They pushed the pistol once again in to Uncle Sam’s back. Then they picked up as many Coke bottles that they could lay their hands on and got on to a bike and drove away. Uncle Sam was very upset that they had stolen all his hard earned money but relieved that the robbers had not harmed anyone.
