What is immunity?
Immunity is the ability of the body to resist and fight infections caused by disease causing germs and pathogens. The body produces antitoxins to battle the toxins produced by germs. Acquired immunity is when the body acquires resistance to a disease after having suffered from it once. Natural immunity is when we don’t get a disease even though we have been exposed to the disease causing germ. This is because of the quality of our blood that we inherited. Artificial immunity is immunity acquired through vaccination.
