My Favourite Dream

I often dream of flying an aircraft. One day, as I lay in my hammock, I dreamt of a swift stream of miniature blue aircraft. They seemed awkward in design — like from a different planet. Quickly, I lurched forward and grabbed one.

The pilot was a tiny ‘liliput’. He appeared friendly and spoke to me in English! As I touched him, I felt a sharp sting run through my body and behold’. I turned into a liliput myself! We sat in the tiny plane and took off for a land I had never seen before. There were ball-shaped homes which could be rolled; people ate stones and had never seen water. They were technologically more advanced and made different kinds of planes. We hopped from one plane to another, flying all day and night. Their aircraft didn’t need fuel either.

I was living my dream when something cold fell all over me. I opened my eyes to see my sister pouring water on me. Oh, the agony of realising that my dream was over. It was nevertheless, my favourite.
