Essay on “The Season I Like Most”

I like winter the most. One of the things I enjoy about winter is Christmas. I love getting presents and I love giving them. We always have delicious food on Christmas Day and we have crackers. I like winter because it sometimes snows. I like to see winter snowflakes falling to the ground. They look very pretty. Playing in the snow is fun. When it snows my brother and I build a snowman in our front garden. We put an old hat on him. That makes him lifelike. Sometimes, we have snowball fight. We roll snow into balls in our hands. Then we throw the snowballs at each other. We often get soaking and our hands get freezing, we have a lot of fun. I also like to skate in winter. If it gets very cold, the water in the village pond freezes over. When the ice is very thick and hard we can skate on it. I now skate quite well. I used to fall over all the time. I do love winter! I wish it were winter now. I can hardly wait to play in the snow again.
