Essay on “My Friends”

I have a lot of friends. Most of them live in the same neighbourhood as I do. I see them a lot. My best friend is Tanu. She lives in a different part of city from me. I see her at school every day. We often go to each other’s house for tea after school. We play with each other every weekend. We are both keen swimmers and often go to the local swimming pool. Usually, we get on very well, but we quarrel sometimes. Then, we do not speak to each other. We make up before very long. Anuj is another of my friends. He lives next door to me. He goes to a different school. We often play together after we get home from school. Sometimes we take our dogs for a walk in the park. Ashima is also a good friend of mine. She lives quite far away in the same city as my uncle. We play on the beach when I visit my uncle in the summer holidays. Friends are important. It is good to have people to play with and to share things with. I would be very sad if I had no friends.
