My cousin Ravi

Ravi is my maternal cousin. Every vacation, he comes to stay with us for a week. Ravi likes to read books and watch television. I like Ravi because mom lets us stay up late when he’s around.

Ravi always comes to visit us armed with chocolates and books. In the morning he plays cricket with us and in the night he reads out bed time stories to us. Ravi likes to play pranks on us. Sometimes we wake in the morning to find he has painted moustaches on our faces with toothpaste. Sometimes he’ll hide a scary mask behind our bed sheets. It’s the excitement that he generates when he is there that makes him so special.

Before he leaves, Ravi always gives me a special gift. It is always something that he has carved himself and it makes me feel very special. I love my cousin Ravi because he is thoughtful and loving.
