My best friend

No one spoke to me when I joined Gundecha High school. I felt lonely because everybody ignored me. Sweetie joined school after me. She was very tall and had the biggest eyes I had ever seen. No one spoke to her either. One day I slipped and fell. Everybody laughed but Sweetie offered me a hand and her friendship.

Sweetie and I soon started spending lots of time together. We would chase after frogs and lizards. Whatever a boy could do, Sweetie could do better. One day in the school bus the older boys tried to bully me but Sweetie intervened. She was as tall as them, so they thought she was from their class and I was her little brother. We still laugh about it sometimes. Sweetie and 1 are inseparable. She helps me with Math, and I help her with languages. She beats me at basketball every time but I never feel bad about it. She is my best friend.
