Aunty Faye

Aunty Faye lives in an apartment in my building. She is tall and sturdy looking, with a tough exterior and a heart of gold. You can be sure if there is anything fun happening in Lourdes Villa Apartments, Aunt Faye is the reason behind it.

Every day, she organizes us children in to age groups and gets us to play games which she will happily referee. She’s always handing us out glasses of chilled lemonade, or slices of her lovely cakes. On special occasions, she gets all the people of the building together and organizes mini matches where parents, grandparents, children; everybody gets to play.

Aunt Faye is the most selfless person, I know. Whether it’s a scraped knee or a bruised ego Aunt Faye has a solution for everything. She gives us not just her valuable time but also her love and affection.
