A Mother’s Love

As I shut my eyes to block my problems for a while, I see my mother’s face- that kind look, that assurance that all will be well and that love that will always grow and never leave me, no matter what.

A mother’s love is the most natural of all forms of love and can be seen in animals as well. The maternal instinct grows in the female species as she is about to give birth and it remains till the child can fend for himself, in all animals except humans. Human beings are the only unique species wherein the mother loves and cares for her child for as long as she lives. She sacrifices her comforts so that the child might be comfortable, she braves all the temper tantrums and hate speeches during her child’s growing years, she provides nourishment as well as treats for her young ones and tries really hard to see them through any kind of crisis, irrespective of her abilities or her limitations. She is forever encouraging and patient and believes in her offspring when no one else does.

Nothing compares to a mother’s love which is the purest and noblest of all love that ever existed. No words can do justice to mother’s love- it cannot be measured, it cannot be defined and it cannot be surpassed. Let all the happiness be with those who have not had a mother’s love for they have been deprived of the highest form of love.
