Why do people blink their eyes?
The blinking of the eyes can be compared to the effect of windscreen wipers in cars. Eyelids are made of folds of skin which are raised and lowered by certain muscles. The eyelids work automatically. We blink our eyes every six seconds. Blinking helps to keep the eyes lubricated and irrigated.
