Dr. Harvard Steingeil, an American scientist, collected Mantras, hymns, and invocations from all over the world and tested them in his physiology lab.

The Gayatri Mantra produced 110,000 sound waves in a second, the highest among all. This makes the Gayatri Mantra the most powerful hymn in the world. Through a combination of sounds or sound waves of a particular frequency, this prayer is believed to be capable of developing specific spiritual potentialities.

Hamburg University too initiated research into the effects of the Gayatri Mantra on the mental and physical plan of creation. Based on these findings, the Gayatri Mantra has been broadcast daily for 15 minutes from 7 p.m. on Radio Paramaribo, Surinam, South America, for the past two years. A radio station in Amsterdam in the Netherlands has also been broadcasting it.
