10 lines on “When I Was Caught in a Rain”

1. It was the month of May. The school had reopened after the examinations. I was dreaming of sitting in the higher class.
2. My bag was full of new books. My uniform was brand new. I was walking briskly towards the school.
3. Suddenly, there are dark clouds in the sky.
4. They soon spread and covered the sun. Strong winds started blowing.
5. I started running towards the school. I was hardly a hundred meters away when it started pouring very hard.
6. I ran towards a tree and stood under it for some time but the rain did not stop. The leaves of tree were also full of raindrops.
7. Soon, water drops started drenching me to the narrows. I tried to save my bag but to no avail.
8. My shoes and socks were so full of water that I started feeling numbness and in my feet.
9. At last, I took the risk and started running towards the school.
10. My shoes threw mud at my back. When reached school building, I took, shelter in the porch.
